Critics have been too quick to dismiss this album. I haven't heard the first one (apart from Last Nite), but I definitelu like the songs I've heard from the 3rd album more than the ones on "Room on Fire". The songs are more tuneful, and Julian Casablancas voice takes has some Dylan/Beck moments of grandeur, like on Fear of Sleep. I agree. Critics have been too quick to dismiss this album.
